I am. Looks like a good combo with my Harad force.

Yeah I am looking forward to getting some new poses and being able to field an Easterling force, but then I can wait for it.

I can wait. It's good stuff, but I'm more looking forward to the new Gondorian and Dwarven miniatures.

I'm more thrilled about the Khan dudes (whatever their name is, I always think of Khanate the band and get stuck on that), actually. Mongol hordes with axes, hell yeah. And the chariot should look rather unique on a battlefield. Only problem about them is, I can't decide between them and Moria orcs as a potential next evil army.

I think im one of the few people who dont like the look of the Easterling's, its the bunny ear extensions on the helmet that turns me off them.
The Khand on the other hand look great.

Looking fine to me...perhaps an addition to the Mordor hordes.

I'm going to get some, especially the Cataphracts, but I'm looking forward to Fall of the Necromancer more.

There are two new dwarves too. They are used in the game as a single points purchase, just like the elven twins.

I like the Easterlings and the latest additions allow to build a more complete force than before. Sometime in the future I think they will find a way on my painting table. :)

Khand on the other hand does not impress me much. They just seam not to fit my imagination of Middle-earth. :(

Have fun,

Rolf.

If anything could get me into LOTR, it is the 'evil men'. I would love to collect a combined Khand/Rhun/Haradrim army.

I like the look of the Easterlings, but will DEFINATELY have to get rid of those bunny ears on the helmets.

I still don't actually play LOTR, but I'll deffinatley be picking up the new models, those Kataphrakt just look great.

I'll second the poster above me. Those Kataphrakts are the reason I will start a LotR warband. I've held the Easterlings infantry sprue in my hand and they looked good. I also love the Khandish cavalry, Genghis Khan rides again!

The new Easterlings are what's calling me back to Lotr after a long layoff. I'd love to see a nice photo of lots 'o Easterlings, Haradrim and Khanduns(?) arrayed w/ horse, chariot and Mumak. That would be a sight.

I can't wait for new Khandish warriors, which fit perfectly into how I imagine the general east-southeast cultures to look. They are also briliant sculpts, in my opinion some of the best GW have ever done. :)

Although the new plastic easterlings look great, I don't plan on getting any.

I got a box of the easterlings and the SOTE book the other day. It's promotional material for my shop.

And what happens? There is pretty much a fight between the two people who want to paint them up for the shop!

So popular are the Easterlings around my way....

Yeah, same experience at my local store. They have been a long time coming.
