I was thinking to get back in to fantasy and have an old skaven army with the old screaming bell model. I am going to fix it to a base. So was wondering what is the size of the new screaming bells base so i can make it the same size base as the new model.

Looks like a chariot base to me.

It takes up the space of 15 clanrats. Therefore it's 60mm x 100mm. Yes this is a new base, but a chariot base would've never worked in an army whose entire infrantry range is on 20mm bases.

Interesting to know! I wonder if we can upgrade our chariot bases now :)

I don't play the current version so can I ask if the base size is important - my old style bell isn't on a base ...

Thanks for that, will have to make one up from some hardwood. Cheers.

The book says it takes up the space of 15 Skaven, but it's on a chariot base, so I believe it's closer to 12.

It's not on a chariot base. It's on a special custom base specially designed for it. It is exactly 60mm x 100mm (or in other words displaces 15 models). Might I also add that the model FILLS the base completely, I'm sat here looking at mine right now and seriously it is huge, it wouldn't even nearly fit on a chariot base!

so, is that three skaven wide, five deep?

Unless you want them to push the bell sideways :P

60mm frontage = 3 x Skaven (20mm x 3 = 60mm), 100mm length = 5 Skaven (20mm x 5 = 100mm).

Good to know! Thank you! So then ideal units of Monks or SV would be 27 or 34. I will have to adjust my list a tad. :)

I'm going for 39 (9 wide 6 deep - with the bell displacing the central 15 models).
