Howdy folks, I mentioned this in the introduction forum but this is probably a better place for it to be; are there many/any gamers in the Burnley area of Lancashire? The reason I ask is that I haven't gamed for a long time and am totally out of touch with the scene so not sure if there are any gaming clubs or just a bunch of good people up for a game of 40K around here.

Cheers

If you're up for making the journey into Manchester, the Vet's Night in the Arndale store is a pretty good source of games. Can't help you any closer to Burnley though.

I'm just down the road from Burnley (just over the border towards Todmorden). I'm not aware of any clubs in the area, not really played much since I moved here I'm afraid.

Check out www.gcnm.org.uk.

They have most of the GCN clubs under their club finder.

There is actually a small gaming club in Burnley.

It's a shop above the petstore near asda. It's called compendium. They'll be in the yellow pages. or.... http://www.compendiumburnley.co.uk/
