I'll state a situation.

K = Knights
F = Foot soldiers
WM = Warmachine

.......KKKKK.....

......FFFFFFF....
......FFFFFFF....
......FFFFFFF....

........WM.......

The Knight charges the soldiers who elect flee as their reaction. They flee through the warmachine which takes a panic test and stays.

Situation A:
The Knights have sufficient move to capture the soldiers, who didn't roll high enough to escape the Knights.
What happens? Are the foot soldiers destroyed and the warmachine charged?
Are the Knights allowed to crash into the warmachine without having called a charge at it?

Situation B:
The Knights can't catch the soldier who rolled too high and got away. However, the Knights do have enough movement to reach the warmachine if they move their full charge-move.
Are they allowed to charge it in this way? Or does it count as a failed charge in which case the warmachine is allso out of reach for the Knights?

The warmachine constitutes an Enemy in the Way situation. The knights can declare a charge against the warmachine once it is determined that the warmachine would be in the path of their advance. This is resolved as a normal charge. If they hit the foot soldiers in between, those infantry are destroyed. Note specifically, though, that the foot soldiers get to flee before the knights are moved - if the infantry reach the warmachine, they'll "bounce" through it, and if the knights charge the warmachine and its crew holds, the infantry are safe (for the moment!).

Okey, so you can run to safety behind your own units?

Allso, what happens if I overrun into the soldiers? Are they destroyed or can they flee again?

If you cannot actually reach the unit when they flee from a charge then they escape. This is totally different to breaking from combat where it is a comparison of dice rolls - y0ou catch them before they move.

Okey, so you can run to safety behind your own units?Yes, when fleeing from a charge. The danger, of course, is that you panic the unit you're hiding behind in the process!

Allso, what happens if I overrun into the soldiers? Are they destroyed or can they flee again?They will flee again - but their odds of both escaping and remaining on the table are quite poor at that point.
