View Full Version : Campaign Ideas

My buddies and I have recently gone through the Lustria book and love the thought of playing a long node campaign where each captures territories, etc. and is rewarded for the different territories they hold. I was wondering if there were rules for other types of campaigns or people had ideas on different types of territories that give different bonuses. It would be great to hear about other stuff out there and some things other players have done.

well i tend to have territories effects match terrain and vice versa.

But dont go overboard and make some areas too complicated with terrain.

Set up scenarios that can also be based on the terrain as well.

Use the Lustria book as a guide.

Try mighty empires..

Add your own Lustria rules and you should be good to go ;)

Look into Mighty Empires, both new and old versions. The older is a quite complex and the newer is quite simple, but I think if you take bits of both and put them together you can find something usefull.

- The Lustria - Jungle Hell Campaign (http://www.avianon.net/downloads.php?f=campaign_lustria). Contains campaign rules for Lustria and a Jungle-fighting appendix to my Random Scenario Generator (http://www.avianon.net/downloads.php?f=scenario_generator)

- A Mighty Empires mod (http://www.avianon.net/scenarios/mighty_empires_mod.php) that works quite well

- The generic A Little War in the Borderlands Campaign (http://www.avianon.net/downloads.php?f=campaign_littlewar)

Find out from your fellow participants how complex they want their campaign - if they want a simple one, you'll spare yourself a great deal of trouble.
