But, after nearly 8 weeks of no wargaming spending I have finally cracked!

This weekend I spent £80 on IK RPG minis! February may see me spend some money on GW products with the release of SitE (I have my eye on the Kharmūl mini).

Myself spended around 100 euro this month on GW. Starting up with eldars and got the battlebox(with a little bit extra here and there) :) Usually I spend much less or nothing but in the closest months from now I will spend more as GW will learn ;P

Ohhhhhhh, I've spent some bucks on my minies collect. NOTHING with/on GW's goodies.

I used to spent between $700 and $1000 (on GW's goodies) a year thru indie merchants. Since retirement, I spend less, VERY little on GW goodies.

Zippo for Jan 06 from GW so far. Bought £22 worth of W&N Srs 7 paint brushes though.

Got plenty to keep me going for at least 6 months currently. Just started another squad of Fire Warriors and a FW Battlesuit, two more plastic Battlesuits ready to build. Also got a couple of additional Gaunts boxes to build. Flying Warriors and a Fex for my Tyranids plus a load of Marine stuff (Termis, plastic scouts jump pack assault squad and metal Chappy Termi to name but a few.)

Only thing of note coming up with be the Tau Codex and the commander Battlesuit, sniper drones. Might go for another Hammerhead, I'll be checking out Ebay for cheap Hammerhead/Devilfish's expect I'll MO the Skyray turret when its available as I like my vehicles to be multifunctional rather than buy one of each variant.

My first actual spend in quite a while, some new paints and brushes coming to the grand sum of £9.33 at Maelstrom, so about £12 ish in real GW money. So not a lot, and it'll likely stay that way unless I get nutty with my Loan.

Jan 06

13 Eternal Guard (£26.50)
1 Eternal Guard Command (£7)

1 Chaos black Spray (£6)
1 Bleached Bone (£1.75)

Total £41.25

That should do it until about march I think apart from maybe the odd pot of paint / brush...WD comes on subscription, and I have a Dwarf army box still in it's shrinkwrap...

Actually, thinking about it, I sold some SOBs and Kroot on eBay, for about £80, so technically...I spent -£40 (ish) :D

My total for January is about 70 euro, which got me some new paint, some new brushes, a new hobby knife, new blades and an awesome tank. The best thing was the satisfaction that GW didn't get any of it, though.

My total for January is £100, having bought some of the Cadian upgrade packs and the lighter from forgeworld.

My total is $95 for 1 cadian Box set, 1 Cadian Heavy Weapon squad, 1 cadian officers blister, and 1 box of Zombies. This was from a local that I had a gift certificate for. Otherwise, I have not bought a GW product since... the ork plastics came out.

Myself, for anyone interested:

January 2006
Artizan cowboys: £12
Confrontation Wulfen: £10
Testor's Dullcote: £6
Anything by GW: £0

That is a trend that is set to continue. I can't see myself buying anything from Gee-dub for the forseeable future, unless it is second-hand.

Green Stuff £4.00
Black Spray £6.00

So £10 all in all. I really don't need any more figures.

Lol, hell no. I've got 14 armies on the go at the moment so i'm taking time out from buying figures to actually paint them.

I really am cured, on the wagon since November 2005...:D

Doesn't count if I get given figures does it?

Brandir
31-01-2006, 12:55
No, it only counts if you part with your hard-earned £/$/€.

Brushmonkey

I've decided to actually paint some of the stuff that's gathering dust.....and has been for 3 to 6 years.

I guess I am waiting for the new improved 7th Edition rule book.;)
