The Oregon Trail, on the Apple IIc... no, seriously, I used to love that game. We had an Apple emulator to play it on PC in school a couple years ago, it was great!

That was the game I was going to suggest. If you play it from styart to finish in one sitting, you find yourself thinking "F12" when you walk into a dark room.

Id recommend Call of Duty for online play, although Im not too sure if its a classic.

Its only like 2-3 years old so its not a classic as far as i know, even tho it won the game of the year 2003 :)

I always go back to the close combat serious especially 3, get a few mods you can go all over again with different units etc. Same with the other close combat games. I also like Jagedded alliance 2, takes time but its got character. But the king is operation flashpoint i love that game, i think theres some GW mods going around for it.

Yay, yay and thrice yay. Whenever I get tired of PC gaming I go back to EUII or Total War.... and Deus Ex is up there as well. EUII rocks, though.. and nobody seems to believe me round here

If you havn't played it yet, get Deus Ex!!! It's possibly the best single player game I've eer played, and the MP is addictive in a kind of "this is stupid, bad and pointless. Yet strangely fun" sort of way.
