Does anyone happen to have a larger/better quality picture of the Rogue Trader Crimson Fist last stand?

Preferably with the chaos titan in the background.

I got the original, space Marine plastic box set, when I was about seven years old. This art work truly captivated me.

I'm now Thirtytwo and would like to frame a copy for my games room.

Thanks for any help.

Google images is your friend. Try "Crimson Fists" and go about 6 pages in....

http://farm1.static.flickr.com/4/9511134_19acf7b0f3.jpg is a bit bigger, but I would suspect that it's not large enough.

And while we are on the subject, how about this RT image?

Isn't a Chaos Titan mate in that picture it's a Ork Dreadnought.

Ah good old RT days when you could have speeders.

Might not help much but GW did have a exhibition of their art over the years up in the castle a few years ago, they might have some larger prints.

In fact I'm suprised GW haven't caught on to the idea of reproducing their, lets be frank, brilliant artwork for us enthusiastic types.

I noticed a while back that serveral people on Ebay offer a canvas print of pretty much any picture you give them, perhaps that would be a bit more grand?
I know IP is a little bit of a grey area here but you're paying for a service (and materials) and have solicited the work (rather than responding to an add for GW art reprints). Check out the legalities first if you're going go this way but otherwise, good luck :)

I've only resently found the slightly enlarged picture. I did wonder as they are clearly fighting orks.

So far the largest I found is 1024 x 642

The biggest I can manage:

Ah, that's still a great piece of artwork, even by today's standards... far better than the "candy pop" art of 2nd edition.

I don't really like the helmet beaks. The only way you wouldn't find it silly is if your army was called "The Birds of Prey". (Come to think of it, that would be particularly embarrassing and laughable.)

And what about the studded shoulder pads? They have worts on them! (They later turned out to be traitors to the Emperor during the Horus Heresy and joined Nurgle.)

Rogue Traders marines are amongst the best GW have done. If you don't think so you're in the wrong hobby! :p

I still get out the book for the artwork and quotations... if there is a resource for poster prints of 40k artwork I would also be interested in getting some framable prints for the game room.

They're hideous! I miss the old 3rd Edition Rulebook artwork. The Imperial and Space Marine artwork had an edginess and extremely stylised quality to it.
