I like my lord the most... cannot be reduced to less than 3+ save (rerollable) except when something doesn't allow armoursave at all :)

That is a pretty core heavy army. I'd drop a core unit and bulk up the Iron Breakers. I never take a cannon without rune of forging, but I tend to roll misfire frequent. Instead of the dragon slayer you could have a BSB.
Anyway, it is a nice army for friendly games.

Which core choice shall i dump then? One of the longbeards or one of the warriors?

Ah yeah! *slaps self* that reminds me, im going to buy another 16 warriors for my dwarf army, i already have 12 longbeards with GW, and warriros with hand weapons and shields, what should i assemble them as? i was thinking 10 warriros with great weapons, and add 3 longbeards with GW and 3 warriors with shields, any ideas friends?

Can your lord have 5 runes? i thought it was 3 max? (just to inform, i play dwarves, just im very new to them, incase iv missed out that lords can get 5 runes, like i did earlier that the lord permits one more longbeard unit)

3 per item, not character, but the armour and the weapon are two seperate items. In this case, the lord has armour with 3 runes on it, and a weapon with 2 runes, both of which are allowed.

My advice here is twofold, first of all, your combat units are too small, they are designed to take a frontal charge and so should have full rank bonus, in 2k I would make sure my combat units are 20 strong (or 19 with a character). My second piece of advice is to visit: http://invisionfree.com/forums/Karak_Grom/index.php?
Its a specialist dwarf forum, small but pretty well established with probably the best community I've found on the web.
