Hah, it's an Orky V-1. I imagine they built it specifically towards Ork players.

Maxmini's site is here (http://www.maxmini.eu/).

I don't think that there's any doubt about that. ;) Just as undisputable as the uses for the "big wolf" they released, the Kromlech arms and lots of other things.

Actually I wasn't sure about the Kromlech arms, are they meant for Orks or Imperials?

They even talk about an optional 8th part that sounds suspiciously like a grot pilot :)

The only way these could see usage on imperials is for Necromunda pit slaves I guess. Keeps the description specifically unspecific by saying that the bits fit for 28mm "bulkier" miniatures which clearly implies Orks to me. Also, the designs of the close combat arms are very very close to current Ork close combat weapons and the shoota arms look very close to the pictures of bionik weapons in 'Ere we go.

Aye, they're definitely for Orks. The maker had more or less said so on The WAAAGH!, and looking at the pieces, they're definitely meant to make Cyborks. From what they were saying, we should be seeing more, especially some "militaristic" pieces, which to me screams Blood Axes... And makes me jump in joy.

This in particular would be perfect for Grot Bommz. Could probably make that one Apocalypse: Reload piece (the shack with the missile on it) too. Can't remember the name and the book is all the way in the other room, lol.

It does look Orky yes. Would love to see something like this to use as a Deathstrike Missile for IG.

good find OP, i have been wanting to do a freebooter ork army for ages, and those pirate ork heads are perfect, do you know any other sites that do "40k" stuff?

these guys have some ork bits

the maxmini ork heads are better IMO. actually all the newer stuff from maxmini is really top quality stuff, very much on par with forge world

At far lower prices and with much more reasonable shipping to boot. I'm a big fan of Maxmini, although sometimes it's hit or miss (those M-16s aren't too impressive, for example).

the M16's make for good shootas or autoguns, the apocalypse guns are tasty too
