So, this is the beginning of my Black Templars Project log, however it is not the beginning of my army. Ive been collecting Black Templars for almost 5 years. Its not impressive in size however it is my best painted army.

Fighting Company Aegis is the name of my force, led by Emperors Champion Dorian Aegis. I have just recently decided to give them some fluff so all I have is the name so far lol, and I based it on what sounded cool to me . So, for starters I'll just show you what I have completed so far. I only like to field painted models myself, so I do have a few work in progress models that I should be posting soon. Hope you guys like them, maybe give me some ideas for names of things, like Crusader Squad - ?. Not so much name for individual guys, I will only give my Independent characters names.

So for starters, Emperors Champion Dorian Aegis,

So, the things next to come will most likely be Rhino's (2), a Drop Pod, more Assault Terminators, a Land Raider Crusader, and a few more initiate bikers.

Right now im working on Rhino # 1.

Some nice looking BT you have there.

The white looks really good.

Are the Templar chapter symbols freehand?

It's great to see another Templar collector :)

They look really good, especially the forgeworld dread, I am contemplating getting one myself. And the chaplain looks great. Excellent work so far.

What a great looking Templars army. I really like the Emperor's Champion, very nicely done.

Yeah, they are definitely worth it. In my opinion the BT dread takes the cake for looks when its on the field.

Cheers!, I just recently added the Iron Halo on him. Though, he almost always fails me on the battle field. His so called "Slayer of Champions" ability always gets him killed.

So a bit of an update on my progress with my painting. Ive done a Rhino aswell as a landspeeder. One of my models I forgot to show was my Chaplain in terminator armor. I forgot about him because I never use him, well I usually just never use chaplains in general but I proxy the regular one as a Marshal. Anyway, regardless here are some pics.

I don't have any unpainted models atm so this weekend I will probably find the time to go get something. Probably another Rhino just because I really do need at least two. Perhaps a Landspeed also, or maybe a much needed Marshal. I'll let you guys know what I got when I get it.

Excellent update, the chaplain in particular looks great. I like the way you have highlighted the vehicles, it's more blue than the usual grey. Did you freehand the shoulder pad crosses? I always struggle with them, so kudos to you!!

The highlights on the vehicles look really good, I prefer them do grey.

I really like the detail on the front of the Rhino too.

That Chaplain was the first model I ever painted well, I painted him almost 4 years ago. Most of my BT's I've had that long have been stripped of their paint and redone.
Yeah I do all the seals freehand, its pretty simple if you do it like this,
