I'm combining Beastmen parts with Wood Elf Horses in order to create Centigors. Which would be most appropriate: a Gor or Ungor Body for this conversion?

Thanks

Please, a Gor.

Ungors look so incredibly stupid, and you don't want to ruin your unit with them, and the Gors won't respect them as true Beastmen. Plus, for some unexplained reason the Ungors are quite obese while the WE horses are ridiculously skinny, which would likely result in a very odd look.

Basically what ULF said.

Incidentally, i find the idea of converting centigors out of beastmen+wood elves really amuses me. Takes mutation to a whole new level.

Ungors do not have the right size and muscle build to be used as the upper portion of a Centigor.

This is a Gor body mounted on a Marauder Horseman steed, if you're curious about how it might match up.

I converted a unit of centigors using wood elf horses and gor bodies and heads. Just saw the body in half underneath the belt and use a little green stuff to cover the join. They work really well, although I'm afraid I don't have any pictures for you.

Plus, for some unexplained reason the Ungors are quite obese while the WE horses are ridiculously skinny, which would likely result in a very odd look.Just because three of the ten ungors don't have the same ripped body as the other seven doesn't make them obese in any way. :eyebrows:

The centigor human bodies are midway between gors and ungors in size, so I wouldn't say it's wrong to use ungor bodies, especially since you get spear arms in that box.

You can find a lot of centigors, both original and conversions, in this thread (http://z2.invisionfree.com/herdstone/index.php?showtopic=18262).
