Greetings everyone.

I am currently working on TK list and I normal take 1 unit of 5 carrions.
Now this unit has worked well for me but I would like to try dropping them down to 4. I want to see if they can still accomplish what they are ment to do but making them easier to throw away with their smaller unit cost.

So my questions is are units of 4 carrions good and viable over units of 5?

cheers.

Yeah I dont see why not. Theyre just there to march block and to run down fleeing units. So 4 is as good as 5 for those purpose.

3-4 is optimal. You don't need more to march block, redirect and attack war-machines. In fact, they become terribly unwieldy in large units.

How do they become unwieldy exactly? Theyre flying skirmishers after all .

I've only ever taken them in units of three, any more and I feel like you're paying too much for a unit that's only supposed to cut down fleeing troops

The unit simply gets too big. Especially in the case of march blocking, it's harder to position them behind enemy lines when the unit occupies 800+ mm^2.

I play a castle formation with TK and have been thinking of takeing them to kill war machines but the guy I play against mostly uses wood elves so they would just get shot to bits.

No reason to take more than 3.

The points you save could be much better used some where else.
