Sorry if this is the wrong area to be asking this, but I'm making a Nurgle Warriors of Chaos army, and I was wondering....how do I make my bases look slimy? I've tried wood glue, with a little success, but I was hoping a pro would know an easy way to do it.

Thanks,
SL

Paint the base green, then apply PVA (or wood) glue on top, should create a glossy finish. Another way to do it is to use greenstuff or sth similar to sculpt "slime", them paint it green (or whichever colour you liek) and apply gloss varnish or ink.

PVA is easier though. You could also add some paint directly to the PVA before you apply it.

Games Workshop sell water effect clear resin that would be perfect for slime, just add a little green paint to it. It is a bit tricky to use though because it dries so slowly you have to layer it up in stages, and it is more expensive than PVA too.
