I am about to convert some Spawn kits into Beasts of Nurgle but I'm in doubt with the bases used by Beasts of Nurgle in 40k. In the codex they have 60 mm bases but on the GW website it tells me they have 40mm bases. So I'm kind of confused.

I did search for the answer, found some threads about it but there seemed there wasn't a clear answer on the base size. So sorry if this has been mentioned a lot before.

The model came with 60 mm.

Thanks a lot! Will be getting some 60 mm bases then! :)

I got terminator bases for them so I am using those.

I got terminator bases for them so I am using those. You should complain to whoever you got your models from and ask for the proper bases, since I don't see any way for the current model to fit decently on a 40mm round base.

I got 40mm bases with all of mine too and I have 17 of the buggers and I haven't had a single problem mounting them on said bases so who knows which is the right way.

I've purchased 9 of these and every single one came with a 40mm base, as did a friend who complained that they had overhang on that size base.

For me they came on 40mm and I've never seen otherwise until this thread, in fact a 60mm base doesn't even fit in the blister, does it?

Well, that's just wonderful. The website picture shows the model on a 60mm base, the spearhead boxes came with 60mm bases, and the codex shows them on 60mm bases.

But they're apparently putting 40mm bases in the blister packs. :cries:

P.S. I still think you should complain if you got 40mm bases for those models. Sure, they "fit" on 40mm bases for a very loose and annoying version of "fit".
