Sorry for the delay!

By "armies owned", I mean fully playable armies of 1000 points or greater. Those random one-regiment side projects we all have lying around don't count towards your total. :)

Hmm, lets see:
High Elves
Wood Elves
Empire
Orcs & Goblins
Warriors of Chaos
Beastmen
Brettonia
Ogre Kingdoms
Dwarves
Lizardmen
So 10, only really been using Wood Elves/ High Elves recently though, I suspect that'll change once 8th edition comes round.

Currently 0 for me. Financial troubles caused me to sell what models I DID own (Which would have been Empire, Vampires, and Lizardmen). Just started buying again, and have ALMOST 1,000 of Dwarves.

I try to never sell my models. Because you always sell them for a loss, and then later on you go back to buy models again..

I once sold off an army, only for it to change hand's 3 or 4 times, and in 3 years i ended up buying it back.

I have alot of Dwarves and am just under 1000 of Bretonnia so I went with 2 on the poll. Its funny that my armies are at the extremes of movement. I think I prefer the Bretonnia, but I do miss my cannons.

Orcs & Goblins - 11,000 pts
Ogre Kingdoms - 6,000 pts
Empire - 4,000 pts
Skaven - JUST under 1,000 pts - but I'm working on them! :D

Next on the list is Either Beastmen OR bumping up the Skaven to about 2250pts.

Painted and ready to go, 3000 points or more each of:

O&G
HE
DoC

With WoC slowly being collected but totally unassembled as yet.

I've got two fully playable armies (though not quite fully painted):

High Elves (around 5k pts., about 3k painted)
Warriors of Chaos (around 3k pts., about half painted)

These are my two main armies, and both are ongoing projects. Though I have the models I typically use painted I still have work yet to do to get either army to where I'd like them to be before I can say I'm "done." Regardless, I'm happy to have and use them.

I've also had Empire (1000pts) sitting around for some time, my first army. Though some of it is painted it's clearly my first attempt at painting, while the majority is unpainted yet primed. I just decided to move along, since I couldn't manage to get my infantry blocks big enough. I may yet return to them some day, though.

I also have a Battle for Skull Pass set's worth of Goblins and Dwarfs, though nothing much has been done with them since I and my friends first got into WHFB when 7th edition came along.

I have a 6k point army of Bretonnians, which are my main list, with about 2500 painted (working on getting the rest done!). My other force is a smaller 1500 WoC list based off of the battalion box, which has one unit of Warriors painted.

Desert Rain
02-05-2010, 19:33
That would be 2, I have about 7000 points of High Elves and about 2500 points of Lizardmen.

GuyLeCheval

4000 pts in Skaven here and 2000 in Bretts.

Sadly me being a student and having parents that think Warhammer is for little boys (thus unwilling to pay for me) I only own roughly 3000pts of Dark Elves.

I am desperate to start a close combat Dwarf army and having been playing with the idea of using funds from my student loan but decided not to.

I sold all of my armies about 3 years ago for school funds and am back at square 1 buying figures again.

Bretonnia and Lizardmen.

Spike Fiend
02-05-2010, 21:13
My only army is Orcs & Goblins. It's about 3,100 points and all assembled and painted. I started out in late 2003 and was finished roughly a year ago... And I think that I'll have to correct the many errors on my first models before I expand the Horde. (:

02-05-2010, 21:42
My actual armies are Dark Elves (2000pts) and Wood Elves (1000pts). Though I also have boxes full of old Vampire Counts (5000pts) and Night Goblins (3000pts), I don't count those as I don't have the up-to-date army books, or indeed use them anymore. They just sit around for nostalgia value :p

Zinch
02-05-2010, 22:07
My armies are 3000 pts of Dwarfs (my first and still current love) and 1600 pt of WoC (it used to be 2000 in 6th edition, but then they avoid using my horrors in a WoC army... I abandon them since then, but I'll retake them in a near future)

Laurela
02-05-2010, 22:10
4000pts of LM and TK. Then I have like 50 side projects that don't count.

03-05-2010, 01:29
had 3 at one crazy point

hordes of chaos (remember them? HAHAHAHA), wood elves and empire.

culled hordes of chaos from my collection when they became wizards of chaos and wood elves

i still keep empire at the moment because primarily, hey are the flagship army of fantasy gw (and pretty much all plastic). i intend to stick with them for a while. but as how this "hobby" goes, you need at least 2 armies to manage the cycles (so you won't have 2 armies that suck, unless you are quite unlucky, which then again is quite easy given GW's erratic codex power cycles)

i looked at daemons and went no and am eying dark elves.

then again dark elves are so good you know they are going to get the big nerf bat in future.

so im stuck with empire.

I have 3k+ of WoC, and ~1999 points of Tzeentch daemons. I also have a Lord of Change, but I don't have enough horrors to field a 2k army (it was built for the Storm of Chaos daemon list).

I got one fairly big dwarf army.

i haz around 3000 of fully painted vampire counts,

and about 2250 of mostly unpainted o&g. only 2 or 3 units painted in that army.

i should get off the internet and get on that.

My original 5th ed orc army's in shambles and it's not really playable, so I will not count that one.

Thus I have 3 armies, my old dwarves, that I haven't done anything with in 3 years or so. I only take them out now and again.
My main army, which is dark elves.
And my newest addition, skaven pestilence army that I started painting only this year. I haven't actually played them yet, but I have enough models to get a 1000pts game in.

I probably have that in OnG too, but it's not playable, and it's spread around in various boxes in the shed, unlike my other armies.

TK, OK, VC if you count the BFSP armies have 5. I don't count them so 3.

Fully painted
Orcs and Gobbo's
VC
Dwarves
High Elves
Dark Elves
Beasts

Still to be painted
WoC
DoC
Brettonians
Empire
Lizardmen
Skaven

GW love me!!...and of course my wallet.

Only Dark Elves, I sold my Bretonnians years ago and my Cult of Ulric themed empire last summer.
The way my finances are I might have to sell my (nearly 15 year old) Dark Elves in the not too distant future :/

Tomb Kings
Dark Elves
Orcs & Goblins
Dwarfs
Empire

I also have Daemons, although they are not playable - a GUO and a dozen nurgling bases. They were originally the beginning of a Hordes of Chaos army as the only Daemon element. Then the Daemon book came out and I lost interest.

So a total of 5 armies: 1,000 to 5,000 points each, for a total of around 18,000 points. Unfortunately only a fraction are painted (like 10%). I would say most have been started though, which takes all the prep work out before painting a unit. I really need to get out the paintbrush more.

Skywave

I've got 3 army in total.

Tomb King is around 3k with some stuff still unbuilt. Probably a good 4k when everything will be done, with appropriate character and all.

VAmpire Counts is probably around 2.5k-3k, the "don't count as core minimum" stuff hurt as I don't currently use Ghouls or Zombies. Though still a lot of unbuilt/unused stuff too for the VC, could probably get at least 5k with everything.

Empire is my newer army. I've only bought and built stuff, no battle with it yet. Still working on it, but a probably a good 2k of battle-ready stuff, with abouth 1k to still finish.

Well, every army to at least 3,000 points, smallest being Kislev.

So including Kislev, Dogs of War, Chaos Dwarfs and every current army that makes... 18 armies.

OK, O&G, DoC, WoC, Empire, VC, DE

6 is the number, I have a decent collection of Highelves, but most of armies are only about 3k plus points.

Old School Chaos... so I started with 1 army... then the books changed and now I have WoC, Daemons and Beastmen. Oh for the days when I could field all 3 in one game... I loved that look on the field.
