Personally I prefer the look of the second list mostly because it has a far more solid battleline. But I notice that you have no Quarrellers or Handgunners?

Prefer the first list as against too many different armies the warriors just don't hold things up. Too that end they end up being a clear weakspot in the battleline, even with increased unit size.

Just wish could find somewhere in the first list to find points for a BSB, preferably with gromril and cleaving. Perhaps reduce the size of each hammerer unit slightly and possibly remove penetrating from one of the bolt throwers. Not an ideal solution though.

To shadow - I dont really like thunderers and quarrellers (although I do own some) as the frontage can be a little to big to be effective. Warmachines are small but static which is the only downside, but hey I only have short legs lol.

To ooglatjama - I only really use dwarf lords in around 3000 because they are easily avoided and dont really earn back their points.

To emearg - I have changed the second list around a bit to include the characters in the warriors, making them harder. The units of 10 warriors in the first list is for counter charge, bait and flee and warmachine guarding.

I find that both lists have merits, the first against magic heavy and fast armies, the second for combat and horde style armies.
