Does he really costs only 15 points? :wtf:

If that's what the book says, he does.

Why are you questioning this? Do you have a misprinted book or something?

Yep Warlock Engineers are only 15 points. but his upgrades make him expensive fast.

He costs 15 points, but for those 15 pts you only get a guy with one more wound than a clanrat. To cast spells you need to buy wizard upgrades which cost points.

Could be fun in 8th edition. In 2000 points, you could take 33 Warlocks.

Fairly pointless, but you could do it. :)

That makes me think of 4th/5th edition goblin armies...

It finds a point when you only take 16 of them but you give them all Warpmuskets. Presto, old school skirmishing unit created by scattering 16 individual characters in the same area.

That would be an expensive unit of skirmishers.

Although, it would be quite hard to get any points from them, since you have to kill them one at a time  (until a Skink Priest casts chain lightning and they all explode, anyway... :skull: ).

Unless the Warlocks are having a giant group hug in the open, I can't see stone throwers being that effective. It wouldn't be that hard to space them out so that the template can only touch one at a time.

Hey, this thread is serious business. The Warlock Horde (tm) will be the new Daemons of 8th edition! You heard it here first.
