View Full Version : Greek helmets for veterans?

Hi there,
I had the idea of creating a veteran marine squad, but using helmets
of historical greek miniatures.
My question now is--
is it possible to get just these helmets?
Where do I get them?
I am also wondering if it is possible to get individual ancient
shields or spears....

Warhammer fantasy chaos marauder helmets remove the horns with clippers and they look like a Greek Corinthian Helmet thats a 300 style spartan helmet with out the red plume on top.

A lad out our gaming group used them for his chaos marines they look impressive.

It might be worth taking a look at Chapter House Studios.

They make Iron Snake shoulderpads, and the Snakes use phalanxes in combat and have a lot of Ancient Greek styling to them, so there's an army to use. They also have circular, scaled, and eagle-style feathered shields.

Just bought some helmet crests from Secret weapon--
5 each of the small and large roman ones.

Has anyone of you used these crests before and can show me how
they look on your miniatures?

I decided not to go with full helmets, because I got the
Sternguard veteran box for an awesome special price (20$ off),
so I could not resist. I am also not experienced enough to
convert metal, and dont want to destroy these miniatures-- so just crests.

I am curious how these helmet crests will look with my veterans,
and of course all my sergeants will get one, too!!!
