Hey everyone, I know that this is not the perfect forum for it, but everyone I can assume is excited about the 40k MMO just as I am. But seriously check out this video and look in the background. See that Space Marine?! HAHA, looks really awesome. Makes me wonder if they made copies... (would totally buy a suit).

Why did he keep referring to 40k as "badass" instead of "grimdark"?

Anyway, those life-size 40k artifacts have been around for years now, but that one does seem to be an improvement on the first ones to appear.

They're not mutually exclusive, you know. Plus, "badass" isn't derogatory.

Because only 40k nerds say grimdark. That phrase is meaningless to 99.999% of humanity.

The suits were pretty sweet though, nice to see the scale in the actual ball park of a space marine. I wonder if they got big dudes to wear them or if they've got giant platform shoes on.

I can't believe they stole footage from the Space Marine trailer. False advertising anyone?

The footage was mixed in by gametrailers, not the dev team.

And isn't the same company publishing both?

They are, yes.

I'm sorry, the sarcasm of my statement seems to have been lost without the aid of those little internet faces we all communicate by :p

They are, yes.

I don't know that they're both being published by the same company (which I assume would be THQ), but they're definitely not the same company working on both. 40kDM is by Vigil Games while Space Marine is by Relic.
