Thrown this together today, well aware that some things may not work as well as they should and others will not work at all possibly.

For reference the Handgunners are ranked in either two ranks of five (detachments) or two ranks of ten (Parent units) and I intend on having them spaced out Thusly: 10-20-10-20-10-20-10. The Pistoliers go on the flanks. Suggestions welcome.

My current 2K list has 60 handgunners and two steam tanks. I think people didn't mind it so much though because I only got into fantasy to do a British redcoat style gunline and, barring the steam tanks, it is based around that.

The old list got ripped apart by magic, hopefully this one wont be.

The musicians I'd say so as the musicians gives you a "swift reform" in the new edition. Basically if you pass a leadership test you can reform then move normally. You can also move backwards half your movement meaning you can about turn and move backwards 2". Since this is combined with random charge ranges it could mean the difference between a successful charge or not.

The banners look cool as hell but I'm undecided on them as things stand. I mean I get +1 to combat res and they are only 25 points if captured, plus with the free reform should you be about to be charged by a less than great CC unit I can always reform into 4 ranks of 5 instead of 2 ranks of 10 and go for the Stubborn bonus.

I may consider taking them out, if I do though it will only save me 30 points, in which case I'm not sure what I'd spend it on...

Hmm cheers for that, I'll double check that when I'm in my local GW next.
