I'm getting ready to paint and theme my army of WoC, and before is spend the time and more money I want to build a list that is flexible and reliable (i.e. all around good for any army I run into)

I'm going Nurgle, I love the idea to much to not. (half rotted warriors of doom) anyway this is a list I've pondered over while at work. Please give any thoughts or Ideas.

We play from 2000 points to 2500 points, I made this list of a 2500 point army. My plan is to have the Chaos Lord with ether the Dragon Ogres or the Knights, Wulfrik will be with the marauders.

Please let me know what you guys think.

the chosen are completly pointless, and give away so many points for what they do. use the points to make your marauder units 30 big. 12x7 = 84points. Use the remaining 131 points to buy anouther 3 knights for the 1 knight unit you have

p.s. you might want to make a 3k list, because that seems to be the new standard points setting

I agree with the sheriff, those chosen have no place on the field, they have 125 points of upgrades on a 5 man unit! Is there any upgrades on the chaos knights? 5 Knights is only 200 points. Chariots are a lot less useful in 8th edition as well becuase the impact hits take models from the back so you will be hit back. So unless you take a pair so they can work together I would leave them out. Bumping up the Dogre unit to 6 (2*3) is just nasty becuase they all get to attack :) I assume you want the marauders to come in from the back to deal with war machines? If you are then i would advise flails so you can make sure that the crew are dead!

Oh you are fine :) This is why I posted the list, I don't have any 8th edition experience yet. The feed back is needed, I'm going to work on the list. Thanks

5 chosen are useless unless you have some special rule that they are suddenly in combat at deployment against an enemy unit of no more than 10 models at T3, no save?

Only things i can see is, if your ogres are housing the sorc then possibly find points to upgrade one to a champion so your sorc doesnt issue one to a combat character.

And the other thing, your sorc lord only has a 3+ save :( sad face.

I have no experience with 8th whatsoever, but as I heard, the Horde special rule would fit perfect for your Marauders, make them 29 with Walfrik (10*3) and you can hit with 33 S5 hits!
