do these still apply? I was looking through the old tomb king book and it has restrictions on maximum unit size for the troops. Newer books like WoC don't have this, is this something that was changed or do these still apply?

Some of the 7th edition Lizardmen have a unit limit and some don't ...
so it's more of a unit thing than and edition thing...

Yeah empire flagellants are limited to 30 its just a unit by unit limit its not specific to any army or edition

Unit limits were there to stop units that were unbreakable, stubborn or undead from being immovable objects. I would guess that they will be inreased or lifited entirely as the books are overhauled

Ahh, ok. Yeah, it seemed strange that TK armies were so limited, I would have expected hordes of shambling undead. Although their skeletons aren't exactly cheap.

Hopefully this will be remedied in the new Tomb Kings book (along with giving them a more reasonable magic phase).
