I've been reading they took quite a hit, I still haven't gotten to try out my nurgle army yet because I just started painting, and now that I'm almost done, 8th ed comes out. Can any1 tell me the big changes that happend to the Nurgle Daemons? I would go out and purchase the 8th Ed, but I'm low on funds atm.

I'm very familiar with the 7th Ed of Daemons, but not 8th.
And if anyone knows if the new daemon models images have been released I'd really apperciate it :)

Thanks!

My army is here btw if anyone is interested:

You now get Ward save or Regen not both. So Nurgle Daemons got a huge nerfbat.

Oh okay, and Ward is magic only right? Does Regen work for all types of attacks?

Sorry still learning the game a bit.

The ward save is against all attacks, it's not magic only.

Ward Save is against all things unless specified otherwise. 8th made the both more or less redundant. Great job GW giving us useless rules.

They're still arguably the most resilient core unit of the Daemon army.

No new Nurgle daemons models unfortunately, supposedly they're the least popular in terms of sales at present (at least thats what a staffer told me)

oh thats lame. I have to outsource for cool looking nurgle models, I've been working lately with green stuff attempting to sculpt my own nurglings, eventually I may make real models. lol

Yep. Nurgle are my favorite Theme but Khorne is my favorite god. Though With the nerfbat Nurgle got. I don't know how well they are going to do now.
