This was the rule in 7th, but I can't find it in 8th?

Has it changed? Does a hit with a strength two or more times the toughness automatically kill the target?

You've mistaken Fantasy for 40k.

Never a rule. In 40k it exists, but not in fantasy. The only high Str = instant death was Str 7+ killing chariots and even that has now gone.

Yup. That's a 40k rule. It's never been a Fantasy rule, to my knowledge.

Another 40k rule that often gets mistakenly used in Fantasy is the "can't rally if enemy are within N inches" rule.

Ok, I'm thinking of the old Chariot rule then as I can definitely remember my Orc Chariots being destroyed outright by Empire cannon in the distant past.

Thanks.

Yes, chariots could be autokilled, but only from hits equal to or exceeding strength 7. No more of that nowadays, though.
