hatred says you re roll all misses in combat.... i interpret this as to hit rolls and to wound rolls

a guy i played against didn't interperet it this way, so i was just wondering what everyone thought about it....

thanks

It is to hit rolls only. A failure to hit is a miss, a failure to wound is just a failure to wound.

Agreed. If you hit, you didn't miss.

A failed to wound roll is not a miss as you obviously already hit your opponent.

i figured it re roll to hit and wound, because usually gw words re roll just to hit as "lets you re roll your to hit roll" as worded in army books and such

you guys are probably right i just thought it was worded poorly

if everybody agrees with you guys, i will have to start playing it the right way lol

The wording is fine, you're reading it wrong! xD

If you haven't missed, then you've hit. A failed to-wound roll just means you've hit but haven't managed to cause any meaningful damage; maybe you've sliced off a bit of cape or given a nancy elf a stylish new field haircut, or what you're fighting just isn't easily harmed by a weedy little knife attack because it's a towering dragon with natural armour stronger than steel

I believe that it is to hit tolls only.
