Is it helpful?

By helpful I mean, is it useful for painting guides, scenarios, stats and army lists, Because I'm thinking about buying it. In short I would like to hear your opinions on it

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It has everything rules wise that Mordor has, with the exception of the three newest Ringwraiths. It has five scenarios, if you're into that, along with half a dozen sample army lists. It also includes a few "Tactics" pages, army lists like Legions of ME has (except correct ;)). Also a few pretty cool army shots. Has painting guides for Minas Morgul, Black Gate, Cirith Ungol and Barad Dur, as well as painting/gaming guides for the Nazgul. Also has a considerable amount of back ground information.

just to make sure you know, the painting guides in the book are as simple as "the armour was painted in boltgun metal then washed with badab black".

I would certainly advise anyone looking to play modor frequently in sbg own a copy of the book never the less, as its just so much easier to have all the necessary profiles and stat lines right there with you in paper form, and the sample army list and simple paint guides are genuinely useful for those new to the hobby. There is also some interesting little rules for playing games in mordor and plenty of inspiration for terrain, including a very nice battlefield set up to accompany the osgiliath scenario

It is missing a few of the newer rules- Kardush, Black Guard, the latest three Ringwaiths; I probably wouldn't buy it. But then I'm not really into scenarios.

Where? I've looked a couple of times but I couldn't find them anywhere. Not even the Kardush rules.

Lord of the Rings > Forces > Mordor > Heroes & Command, take your pick cause they should be there.

I meant the SBG profiles... They only have the WOTR ones.

Most of the new profiles are up in the WD archive section of the GW site.
