i happen to have a friend who specializer in crafting toys(miniatures:shifty:) for companies similar to GW, but not as big, he finally agreed to help me with some DIY crafting, i always wanted a cool Tau battlesuit but I have an imagination deficiency. so does anyone have any battle suit ideas? i recall seeing a new Tau battlesuit somewhere, it had a powerful shield on one arm and something like a railgun on the other, so any suggestions and ideas would really help!:D
maybe something around japanese anime suits like gundams or something, but it just doesnt have the real feel to it in a 40k universe:shifty:

"Just buy Gundam models and put Tau heads on?"
I just call a long dragged out lecture from my anime fangirl sis when i did this, but it still looked cool anyway! in a crazy doesnt quiet fit way. gundams rule!

How about something not quite transformer-ish, like one designed to fly longer distances so its got fold back wings. Or one for orbital insertion, so it has a big force field generator. How about one designed to stick to the side of a ship/tank and cut its way in.

Granted, the current suits can sort of do these, but specialist suits are a great idea that really suits that "modern and adaptable" ethic.
