Hey all;

I've seen a number of bat reps where players are using grudgethrowers and trbuchets to butcher multiwound models like minotaurs and ogres.

I thought the rules for stonethrowers only allowed 1 model to sustain the high S, multi wound damage? is this correct or do the lower strength hits do multiwound damage as well? I didn't think so but now I'm unsure!

advise plz???

Sounds like they are either cheating or haven't properly read the rule.
The d6 damage is only for the hit from the central hole.

I get the impression they might have just looked at the summary profile for the stone thrower and skipped the main body of the rules which mentions the mutli wound only applies to the full strength hit.

This is correct for all regular Stone Throwers (basically the Grudge Thrower, Rock Lobba, & Chaos Dwarf Warmachines)

Special warmachines (like the Hellstorm, Empire Mortar, Hell Cannon and Trebuchet) have differeing rules, so best to check the army books.
