Hello all,

I was just wondering how you time the result of the Feed Back Scroll.

I was playing in a game, and I cast a spell on 5 dice, and he decided to use his scroll instead of trying to dispel it.

We agreed that it should go off after we deal with the results of the spell, similar to how you deal with miscasts, now I killed the model that had the scroll in it, so we just decided that he didn't get to have it go off, was this legitimate?

I am beginning to think, I may have screwed him over.

However something else was going on with that spell so I don't feel really bad over it, It was Teclis, and I got Doubles so I don't think it was legitimate for him to try and use the scroll anyway, but we diced off for it. (No, need to answer the IF part, most of us think he was wrong.)

'the spell is cast as normal, but, after the spell has been resolved, yada yada'

So if their dead when the spell is resolved due they get to use the scroll?

no because you have to use the scroll before the spell is resolved...

Yes he would of been able to use it before he died had the spell not been IF, because the scroll takes the place of a dispel attempt which happens before you resolve the spell.
