Will a spell like Pit of Shades or Dwellers Bellow really remove the Casket of Souls + the LP from the game just for getting the spell off, or am I missing something?

the rule book says WMs fail all stat tests save ld and T. Does the CoS count as a WM or a unique?

Yep, just saw in the FAQ, it's classed as a warmachine. LOL. Poor, poor casket.

What are they going to do? Carry the casket on their backs or lifting it up, when the evil sphere of Dooom or the killermoles come?

Same thing they always do. Play dead :p

Or both?

Looks like that casket doesn't stand a "ghost" of a chance :).

Not got the Skaven army book, is the screaming bell a war machine or more of a monster?

I wonder, when spells or abilities specifically created to counter "Unique" type models, will appear. As for now it is like taking the best from everything and getting rid of all flaws - tadam!

I imagine not-they are all unique and have different attributes so its really just a catch all group for stuff that does not fit in the others (for rules or fluff reasons)

Good to know, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a chariot or what-not :)

Yes. No initiative and morale is certainly great. So great, my butcher whacked 15 wounds out of the furnace the last time.

It's not a chariot, but it suffers heavily when moving through terrain.

Its classed as unique in the unit type, but if you read its rules, its considered a special kind of mount. You follow all the other rules for mounts with it (targetting the seer, randomizing hits, etc), so I'd assume any rule that works on a mount (other than the few beast spells) would work against it
