too much religion also I don't get why you need two hordes...

i'd get more anvil units like Swordsmen or Spearmen w/shields...

I'd take Option two... I like outriders...

Two reasons why I have two big blocks of Halberdiers:

1) They're T3 with 6+ AS, and shooting and warmachines may reduce them beyond usefulness.

2) I need them for Core points, and I didn't fancy using Flagellants.

The Warrior Priests bring 3 Dispel Dice per turn. So at minimum I get 4 DD with a +4 to Dispel, and with the Rod of Power I can have a decent go at shutting down a magic phase.

I took the third (naked) WP for the other Halberdier block. In Horde formation there's a chance that the WP can be safe enough at the edges but still provide that reroll. And also with the Wizard Lord I can force him to use his Dispel Dice and maybe get one or three blocks of Unbreakable units.

I'm willing to cut loose the last WP and use that to round out the list.
