View Full Version : Fulminating Flame Cage + Wind Blast?

Did a search and didn't come up with anything, so I just wanted to check before trying this in a match. Flame Cage says that each model in the unit takes a s4 hit if the unit moves for any reason, so would this include the movement from Wind Blast? If so it'd be a nifty combo to pull off if both spells come up.

Yup, it includes being pushed back by wind blast.
It's one of the less filthy magical spell combo's out there.

Agreed, they'd take the burning damage.

The Enfeebling Foe and The Dwellers Below, on the other hand, is a little more icky...

Hah, I wanna try that some time.... But I don't know what army could pull it off. Warriors of Chaos might be able to, at a great cost, but Empire could do it quite well.

Vampires & Daemons are the 2 obvious choices for any nasty spell combo's as they have the most easy access to the spells of the 8 new lores.
Forbidden Lore and master of Sorcery being the 2 abilities you would be taking.

Vampires can't do Enfeebling/Dwellers as they can never take Life anyway.

Although they have the most viable Purple Sun Suicide Mage (PSSM) ;)

Vamp with Forbidden Lore: Death and Talisman of the Lycni in a unit of Ghouls. Give your Lord/another Vampire Ghoulkin and put the Ghouls on the flank. Move the Ghouls up 8" before the game and then march 18" out of the Ghouls with your Vamp to cast Purple Sun.

Nasty tactic.
