Pure Khorne WoC armies get a bad rep. The winds of magic dice are enough dispel dice for me :)

CHARACTERS

Exalted of Khorne (General)
- Jugger

Exalted of Khrone (BSB)
- Shield
- Sword of Battle
- Collar of Khorne
= 200pts

CORE

25 Warriors of Khorne (6X4 formation)

= 500pts

SPECIAL

18 Chosen of Khorne (6X3 formation)
- Full Command
- Favour of the Gods
- Halberds/shields
= 445pts

5 Knights of Khorne
= 230pts

5 Knights of Khorne
= 230pts

RARE

Warshrine of Khorne
= 160pts

TOTAL POINTS = 1995pts

Well there you have it. The plan is to place the infantry units side by side and support them with the knights/shrine/jugger.

Once this list gets into combat it will rip most enemies apart :)

Wow, that is slimline and brutal. Somewhat lacking in tactical options, but it's good to see a pure Khorne army. Makes me feel guilty for slipping a sorcerer into mine!

I like it. i would swap standrad of discipline for rapturuos standard. I wpuld also drop some of the knights to make the hero a lord with +3 attack sword, bloodcurdling roar, MOk, Juggernaught. A khorne army needs a lord with a retarded number of attacks (i think there 9 there+jugger)

This army is GREAT! i love it lol. But with juggers i would not get shields they are wasted. I would drop that sword of might and the shield for a hally. and i would combine the knights to a unit of 8 dropping 2 and put a jugger with them. and with all the points saved see if you can fit in a khorne chariot....those perform stunningly.

or upgrade your general to a lord and i would give him sword of bloodshed and Talisman of Preservation.

I know it fits the theme, but I'd personally drop the MoK on the Warshrine. Whole point of the shrine is to buff your other mincer units, and having it potentially charge off and get itself destroyed just doesn't seem to warrant the 30pts for frenzy.

Other than that I'd have to agree with others here. Looks pure devastation on legs and I'd love to hear how it performs as I'm currently building up a Khorne only army myself.

I did something like this in 7th Edition against a Skaven army. No magic, dispel was the basic dice, just bought loads of units all marked Khorne - Marauders, Warriors, Ogres, Knights, etc. It was brutal, I've never seen a Skaven army crumble so fast.

Is it worth a shield on the Khorne lord? i Remember reading somewhere in the rulebook that the max armour save you can have is 1+ no longer 0+???
As such i no longer bother with the shield on my khorne lord anymore=)

love it, and yeah the wizard hat busts the whole idea. it does lack marauders with GW but thats your choice
