Just had a quick count up of all my orks i've accumulated over the years, and it comes to just over 1,200. question is..... what do i do with 1,200 orks?

Burn them. Give them to a group of kids playing space marines. Get a large display cabinet, and make a huuuge diorama - and go buy 200 marines to give the orks some opposition :)

...or ebay :)

Run a whole footslogging hoard in appoc then bulid a statue out of them and see how high it can go, and if you feel like it repaint them all( NOOOO! The green tide of green paint ).

I think Ork's breed in cupboards. It's dark and ideal growing conditions.

I actually have a simular problem. I have rogue trader metal orks and Gretchin, as well as the ones from Space Crusade then the 20 Orks and 40 gretchin from 40k 2nd ed which someone then kindly donated all their miniatures doubling them (I also got a nice genestealer cult army so I didn't complain). Then some more Orks from Gorkamorka. Then they came out with the current plastics.... I decided I had loads of Orks, why not make an army. As they then didn't match I started buying more. Kinda got very fed up with GW over a variety of things and have ignored 40k since 4th ed. The Orks got packed away in the back of a large cupboard. I didn't actually get Fifth Edition, but I still seem to have mini's from Assault on Black Reach... They are breeding aren't they?

I only have about 500 of them, I guessing maybe your cupboard was also damp? Means they breed faster?

I'm pretty sure that a few of my friends need more Orks. ;)

That's a lot of orks. Are they painted? I think you might need to get a display cabinet just for them.

I love some of these ideas :D about 400 of them are painted, and i'm really looking forward to using them in an Apoc Game, especially a squad of 50 burnas!
maybe field 8 green tide formations?

I think ColShaw got it right to the point though :D

Keep them. By the time the next codex rolls around, you'll have about 3,000 points of boyz!

I've fielded 3 Green Tides at once, it's much much fun to not do :D

50 Burnas? I'm kinda glad I play Orks as well, heh. For 1 Apoc we put together a Lootas datasheet and it was brilliant to use, though I don't think the opponent enjoyed losing a entire IG company before they got to do a single thing (not that such things ever bother me when I remove massive waves of models before getting a turn). Just remember to give them trukks in the datasheet if you do a Burnas formation ;)
