Hi all,

Just a quick basic question: can you reform after chasing down an enemy unit fleeing from combat or do you have to end facing in the direction you charged the enemy down?

Thanks

Nope, you can reform if you choose to restrain on a leadership test but if if you choose to pursue you'll end up facing that direction regardless if you ran the enemy down or not.

If a unit breaks you have two choices:

1. Restrain with a Ld-test and do a reform
2. Pursue, no reform in this one

Yes, only if the pursuing unit and fleeing unit were not in the same combat i.e. A&B only in combat and B breaks. A pursues B and in the process moves into fleeing unit C which it auto destroys.
(A) can now reform

This is correct.

it's funny, but when you charge a unit and it flees and you catch it, you have to make a ld test to reform...but in the above case when the pursuit move takes you into an already fleeing enemy, then you automatically get the chance to reform...

hmmmm...
