We all know they rule, but i got one trouble with buying them, how am i going to transport them? they wont fit in my warhammer case (without MAJOR editing in it) so how do YOU transport them?

I have mostley seem them arrnged in boxes with lots of corrisponding bits of foam..

Or in tank transprort cases

Or get a decent fitting pin and attached the wings when you want to use them!

There is little alternative except fiddling with a shoe-box or something and getting lots of foam and bublepaper. The nice thing is that once you've completed it, you can use this box for other things that won't fit the usual GW case.

Sabol armytransport. It's good for transporting anything.

damn.. i never thought of that, how i am going to store them (buying some soon) perhaps the tank figure case, or buy some foam inserts and edit them a little, failing that, get a small box, stuff with tissue and place em in that, saves your transport case,

Maybe adding magnets to the wings might work? Depending on the width of the wings area that is connected to the Pegasus' body...

If you want to store them, go to IKEA or something like that and buy a cabinet that can show them off. It really makes them look great and there's lots of room to store them. Transporting them then only takes a shoebox that is designed to transport them. They will only be spending a little bit of time in the shoe box anyways.

Yup, magnetise the wings on.

rather than using foam in a box, you might try sticky tack, the stuff for sticking up posters. You just stick some to the bottom of the bases and stick them to the box, then peel it off when you get to the store. Other than that, the tank/monster case works great and should also fit any trebuchets and hippogrifs you might bring

The GW Tank Case is also suitable. As is any deep carry case with appropriate foam inserts.

i'll try the shoe-box approach ;) hehe, how about not having them on the bases? we all know the size of them (40mm x 40mm right?) so we know how many that comes in base contact, would you allow that?

I vary the length of the shafts on their stands/bases. They still won't BtB well but IMHO, they look better "flying/hopping" across the field of battle.

I use the plastic shoebox carring case. Tacky works to hold them in place inside.

Put rare earth magnets on their bases, put sheet metal inside a big tupperware tub, put pegasi on sheet metal. 20.00 army transport 4tw :)

Don't forget you can purchase the land speeder detachable plastic thingie. This would allow you to remove them from their bases when you pack them away. Admittedly, last time I checked, they were 50p each but it just depends how much you need them (I've got 20 of them and find them amazingly useful.

i'm going for 3 of them, may be 5 (6), but not more..
