This one is a doozy. Right.
1) The mask of EEE! isn't really worth it with all the standards and re-rolls running around, and the wizard needs a Ward save, miscasts will kill him way to easily.

2) Your detachments are horrible. 6 Halberdiers will only serve to give your enemy VP's, go for 10, minimum, or none at all.
3) You need redundancy in your artillery. Mortars and Cannons serve different purposes and they tend to die alot.
4) You took the Luckstone twice, can't do that.
5) The Steam Tank can be killed really easily by magic. Pit of Shades, Purple Sun, Cracked Call, a bunch of stuff can kill it, and at this point level, I'd use those points to beef up your detachments, get another cannon or mortar, maybe a Master Engineer.
6) Get a dispel scroll, its a "don't leave home without it" item.

7) Personally, I think all your infantry blocks are too small. Swordsmen die in droves and with that few Greatswords, combined with ASL, they will probably all die as well.

Also, what are your Knights wielding? GW or Lances?

Hi Vegas,

Thanks for your comments.
Looks like I'm back to the drawing board!

Was tossing up whether to get rid of the STank anyway in favor of adding to my gunline.
The Knights by the way will be wielding Lances.

How big are you suggesting infantry blocks be?

I like to field them 30 strong, minimum. I tend to field Swordsmen 40 strong. You can try fielding them in smaller sizes, 25-30, buy I like to have big units :)

9-10 Seems the right size for Knights, ranged units I like in small, ten man groups.

A thirty man large unit of Greatswords work, but having them in a smaller block, like 20-25 can work if you give them detachments.

Wizards need Ward Saves, especially if he is the only one you field.

Charmed Shield and Dawn Armor or both under magic armor, you can tak one or the other, not both.

I'd buff up the detachment of Halberdiers on your Sowrdsmen, or add a detachment to support the Greatswords. If the Warrior Priest is going into the Greatswords, you don't need a unit champion.

I concede to your point.
@freakshow, lets get into some metahammer. What kind of armies do you usually play? If its other Empire, Elves, Dorfs, Brets etc then the Unit Champ probably isn't that great of an idea, but if you are going against Dark Elves, Ogres, Lizards, WoC and especially Demons then you should use one. You don't want that nice and shiny WP being insta killed by a Bloodthirster.

You can take luckstone twice. Theres an empire one, and a common magic items one.

I agree with the afore mentioned points. If you want artilery, i woudl amke it 3 or 4, an extra mortar then extra cannon. Lore of life also is very impractical on anything with less than 4 spells.

yer the sheriff is right about the life lore on your wizard again metagame is needed because depending on what armies you are u p against those two spells can vary in need alot.
