If you are playing pick up games it is a problematic list because it has more than 1/3rd of the army equipped with missile weapons (which is disallowed in a lot of scenarios.)

Also, Boromir doesn't exactly fit with the Elves (and I don't remember him having access to a long bow, perhaps you are thinking of someone else? Faramir perhaps)

Well, appart from what has been said above, I'd add that there is only 1 hero in the army. It gives 6 might, but they are all in one place. They need to be spread out more.

Which, coincidentally, is probably what would happen to Boromir and this army... ;)

I'd say swap Boromir for an elven hero, there are several who are just as good, add some elves with spears and shields and when you've done everything you need to make sure that you have a full third of elven archers.

As above Boromir does not have access to an elven bow.
Faramir does have access to a normal man bow.
Beregond has access to a longbow (elven bow)

To be brutal this is a poor army.

For starters, where will you be using this army? Pick up games at clubs/GW? Or at a tournament?

It is completely unthemed, unless you can write a magnificent piece of prose about how Boromir went on some sort of patrol whilst in Rivendell.

Sorry, start again.

A harsh but fair comment.

i think my army list is cool It certainly is. Definitely cool - as the opposite of a hot army list. Your reasoning is a little sparse, though. If you really would like to hear anything more on this subject, I would advise you to add a little more of your thoughts.

The problem is that you've taken a hard as nails hero and put him with an army that he wouldn't normally lead. Why is Boromir with the elves? Why would they follow his orders? What is the army's aim?

These are questions people will ask you when you play and unless you can answer them they're gonna think you chose Boromir purely on might points.

You have 41 figures.
You have over 33% bows.
You have no theme to your army
You have only one hero

All in all, it doesn't add up to a very promising army list. Sorry.

Plus you cant give Boromir a longbow if I can remember right ???

Correct. He doesn't shoot arrows. He collects them. ;)
