My goal for this blog is to get me motivated to paint, convert and build my and my friends armies in time for Batlimore Gamesday Tournament on May 12-13th?
So far the list roughly looks like:

Nightlords (me)
-havocs x8
-csm's w/ ccw's x8
-furies x 8

Medusan Lords (Hoj)
-Landspeeder Tornados x9
-space marines x6
-space marines w/ lascannon x4

Feral Orks (Jon)
-Over 143 assorted models (waiting to get definite list)
-Squiggoths x2 (one from forgeworld other plastic dinosaur)

i have roughly 7 weeeks to complete all of this, in that time i have a research papers by the ton load (history major). Can i finish? maybe. I'll damn sure try. Pictures of my "work" desk in next post. wish me luck...

heh, thanks for the support. Tonight after i get back from work i'll post the WIP shots i already assembled 3 landspeeders most likely will finish off another 2 or so tonight, while i prime the 3.

To keep people from waiting so long i think i will also add random pics of my NL's that are already painted just to keep the thread moving.

i stopped by the house to put something up before work, these are pics of my nightlords that are finished (well minus the basing and some details).

I like the nightlords, im glad to see you chose to incorporate some of the batty helmets, honestly i love them, well except the two on the right, the plasma gunner and friend. that type of batty helmet i dont like, but the rest i think make the nightlords just stand out a little more. nice job:D

Neat, but with very few highlights, and a tad light for my preferances. Try giving them a dark blue wash/ink, or possibly a brown one, as that would work on the gold and red as well. You will be surprised the difference it makes.

They look good and remind me of evil Ultramarines with their coloring.

here are 3 pics of 4 landspeeders and 3 marines w/ lascannon. I tried to GS any gaps in the armor seeing as i haven't built anything tank like in quite a few years.

here are some NL havocs i've been working on. My friend gave me the Fabius Bile Box so i put it to good use.

just two pics of the speeders very paint in progress, for all the time i put into to them thus far not much shows. Obviously grey parts are turning white and i have to go over teh green yet some more.

just a small rant here, but why in the world did GW get rid of Bilious Green?! When i originally started my Sons of Medusa it only took me only two quick coats of paint and looked great. Scorpian Green is taking me over 6-7 coats with no good effect.

Have you thought about using Vallejo paints? Livery Green in the Game Color range is a match to Bilious Green. IMHO Vallejo is an all round better paint: better pots, better coverage, higher quality of paint and better value for money.

actually i do use them and think they are quite good. for the nightlords i use them almost exclusively. i think somewhere in time i bought that vallejo color all i have to do is find it..

Get crackin, you bitch! :p

Cerealkiller195 definitely has a full plate to deal with, but he always pulls off crazyness like this. I'm looking forward to watching him complete everything except Hoj's army, lol.

Hrm... makes me think I should start a Templar/Necron army project thread for some inspiration.

finally got my cam back last night!! here are some quick pics (and it tells) of the speeders. i still have to do atleast one more coat of green and two of the white, some spots are missing so i have to touch them up.

If you live in mid jersey, a shop by the name of gamer's realm carries vallejo paints, it is in east-windsor in princeton plaza or something like that.

Btw, awesome thread guys, I'm really liking this.
