2 Lists that are slightly different. I'm debating putting my sorcerer lord in a unit or keeping him safe on a disc.

CHARACTERS

Sorcerer Lord of Tzeentch (General)
- Level 4
- Sword of Might
- Talisman of Preservation (for a nice 3+ ward save)
- Infernal Puppet
= 390pts

Exalted Hero of Tzeentch (BSB)
- Sword of Battle
- shield
- Talisman of Endurance (for a nice 4+ ward save)

CORE

29 Chaos Warriors of Tzeentch
***Sorcerer Lord Here***
- Full Command
- Shields
- Blasted Standard
= 554pts

SPECIAL

17 Chosen of Tzeentch
***BSB Here***
- Full Command
- Great Weapons
- Favour of the Gods
- Wailing Banner
= 465pts

Chaos Chariot
= 120pts

Chaos Chariot
= 120pts

RARE

Warshrine of Tzeentch
= 140pts

TOTAL POINTS = 1999pts

So there is list number 1. It features two very solid combat units supported by the chariots and the warshrine.

On to list number 2

CHARACTERS

Sorcerer Lord of Tzeentch (General)
- Level 4
- Disc of Tzeentch
- Enchanted Shield
- Talisman of Preservation (for a nice 3+ ward save)
- Infernal Puppet
= 405pts

Exalted Hero of Tzeentch (BSB)
- Sword of Battle
- shield
- Talisman of Endurance (for a nice 4+ ward save)

CORE

30 Chaos Warriors of Tzeentch
- Full Command
- Shields
- Banner of Enternal Flame
= 540pts

SPECIAL

17 Chosen of Tzeentch
***BSB Here***
- Full Command
- Great Weapons
- Favour of the Gods
- Wailing Banner
= 465pts

Chaos Chariot
= 120pts

Chaos Chariot
= 120pts

RARE

Warshrine of Tzeentch
= 140pts

TOTAL POINTS = 2000pts

List number 2 features a couple of very slight changes. I placed the lord on a disc and swapped him sword of might for an enchanted shield. I then boosted the warriors up to 30 and swapped the blasted standard for the banner of eternal flame.

What list do people like better?

Lord on disc but take him out of the unit, otherwise what's the point of putting him on a disc?

Halberds on the chosen, not great weapons... the +1 pip of strength is really not better than so many I5 S5 attacks.

You can put the disc lord in a unit so that he can't be picked out by small arms fire, he won't get a look out sir though. Wouldn't really recommend it, it makes him too static and he should be able to stand up to most small arms fire.

I'd be inclined to drop the chariots for a Hellcannon.

Disc on his own as said before. And I would drop the chariots and 6 warriors (6x4 formation works best) for an extra warshrine and squeeze in dome more chosen.

Oh yes, halberds = win.

I'll switch the chosen to halberds/shields and keep the disc out of the unit.

The warriors and chosen are already 6 wide.

You'll have to change your BSB, at the moment he has 55 points of magic items.

indeed, thats too much. Maybe swap the sword for enchanted shield? that'll make him hard as nails in combat ^^.

That will teach me for using army builder!
