So Wood Elves get an extra forest, but can this extra wood grow ontop of a hill??
Thoughts, concerns, suggestions ? Anyone ever see a hill forest ?

What would prevent it?

Then your 'friend' is the problem.

It might be construed as "modelling for advantage".

You get a free wood, not a free hill.
So no modelling it on a hill.
Placing the free wood on a hill thats already on the board however, perfectly legal.

The free wood is supposed to be just that not a wooded hill. Obviously you can build a wooded hill and just place it with the rest of the terrain before setting up.

You are saying that using a forest on a hill is okay for a terrain piece rolled from the terrain table but as a free piece of terrian it is wrong? What if it was a forest with a river through it ?

I mean GW seems to be pretty felixAble about creativity. No defentive base sizes for the all the models missing when the new skaven goodies came out. Haha my abom (me and friend made before the model was out) is on a small base size(50mm*75mm) compared to the official model.

Oh, you want to place a wooded hill? That is, of course, not legal. Why didn't you say so from the beginning? You get a wood, that can grow anywhere on the given table. That's about it.

If you want to place a wooded hill, then I guess that you would have to place your wood on a hill that is alread on the table. This would require you to have a normal wood alongside a wood on a hill.

I would like to have a wooded hill with a river running through it and a tower at the pinical of the hill.
