I've done a couple of Biker Boss conversions, both using a metal Warboss and the Assault on Black Reach Deff Koptas as a base for the bike chassis.

You can check out the full project logs on my website here (http://www.irondogstudios.com/images/akiraboss/mek_akiraboss.html) and here (http://www.irondogstudios.com/commission/wazdakka/com_wazdakka.html).

I used a nob plastic torso with biker legs and then added lots of stuff to make him look more important and stand out... and painted his bike diffrent from the other nobs.

thats not a bad idea, i guess i could use the plastic warboss's arms u get from the black reach box and do it that way, cut his off his arms and head?

To save me reposting the pic again, this was one attempt at one (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=298822). I used the AoBR boss as a base, cutting the legs from the torso and trimming off the lioncloth to sit them on a greenstuff saddle, I then put a blob of greenstuff above the legs to repose the torso and sculpted a coat to hide the obvious crop marks, while cropping the shoota arm to a big choppa handle (irks me a little when I see conversions where the boss can ride his bicycle with no handle bars. Show offs!)

While I'm at it, heres my Wazdakka conversion (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=254329) for some extra ideas :)

Irondog, you're an artisan. Both nicer looking than the FW one, IMHO.

I like the "Orkira" bike in particular. :)

This is my own conversion. I used the metal warboss with squig for it. The main work was to file away the loincloth, also i had to chip away a little at the bike but other than that it was easy. I didn't even need to repose the legs.

1: take one eldar vyper
2: Loot it, be sure to include wheels
3:???
4: Profit

seriously, if i were doing it, looted vyper would be the way i'd go.
warbosses bike is bigger then everyone else's? check
warbosses bike is essentially one big war trophy that screams "we bash dem eldar gitz good"? check (forgive my terrible orkish)
Warbosses bike is a fun looting conversion rather then take powerclaw, take nob, take bike, done? check

@ IronDog - love that Orkira conversion, very nice work.

I'd love to post one of the Biker Warboss conversions I did (on a trike), but I never seem to have a camera, lol.

Irondog, that Wazdakka is inspirin'. Great use of a Deffkopta as a Warbike part without it looking like a Deffkopta... I may steal that!

I don't have a pic as I sold the mini some time ago. However, I made a conversion a few years back where the Warboss wasn't so much driving a bike as riding on the back of a bike driven by a lowly Ork chauffeur. (Cuz why would da Boss drive 'is own bike when 'e could 'ave anuvver git do da drivin fer 'im and koncintrate on krumpin da 'umies?)

What I did was take a Wartrakk (replacing the driver with something a bit less weedy) and left off the gun and gunner. I then converted up the metal Warboss with Big Choppa to stand in the back where the gunner was supposed to be (repositioning the legs so that he stood with one foot down in the "bed" and one foot up on one of the sides). It looked pretty awesome, and you couldn't possibly mistake it for anything but what it was.

(I am currently in the process of doing a similar conversion, only this time for just the Nob of a Warbiker squad.)
