A small commission for a quick-and-dirty paintjob on nine undead pirates from Black Scorpion, ideal for a range or pirate-themed skirmish games, such as Legends of the High Seas, Ron & Bones, Cutlass or even - dare I say it? - Skrapyard.

Anyway, here are the first three:

I'll add a little more detail to their faces, just to emphasize the whole "skeleton" thing, once I've brought the rest of the crew up to this level.

I like them.
Especially the long coats.

Keep up the good work.

Good fun finished product nice job Mr Precinct Omega always impressed at the consistent job you and the "ringers" churn out. If I was local I would consider using you guys (but I would get the buyers remorse and my wife would bully me relentlessly about not painting them myself sigh)

The pay off is that she doesn't have to put up with all your paints being all over the place or hordes of unpainted minis cluttering up the house... :D

@Idle Scholar - I'll try to remember to take a scale shot, but they're basically well-scaled to most 28-30mm fantasy ranges.

Those are some really nice figs. Wow. How much do I now want to do that undead pirate army? Holy cow.

Anyway, not too shabby for "quick and dirty!"

They are very cool minis, but the range might be a little small to do a whole army out of them. However, there have been murmurings that these could see use in a Necromunda campaign, too!

Thirteen poses isn't bad for an army. I think that'll do fine especially since they have a weapon pack and you could mix in GW/mantic undead, it might be doable. The issue I have is simply that the black scorpion models are just too expensive to buy dozens of them.

It would be wrong to see these as thirteen different models. There's a lot of re-using bodies. Anyway, here's the next two, plus one from the first batch with his scarf/cravat actually painted:
