Hi all.
After a quick answer to a small question regarding Army Composition Percentage. It's probably best summed up with an example.

ie: If I am playing a 4000pts game, and have an army worth a total 3996pts, am I breaking the rules by taking dead on 1000pts in, for example, Lords? The same could apply to Hero/Special/Rare allowances, too.

Does the set point limit of the game trump the actual point cost percentages? Or do I have to fit my allowances within the actual total cost of my army (in the above example, it would be a limit of 999pts), rather than the set point limit.

Sure this would only happen in a very rare situation, but would like to know anyways :-)

Cheers,
GT

The percentage is based on the agreed-upon points value, not the actual points spent.

No, you have an agreed pointcost for the army, and the % goes towards that. If you don't use all the points then that's not exactly negative for your opponent and certainly shouldn't affect you in a negative way!

somtimes it becomes impossible to spend that last 1-3 points or so, so it would be silly not to play it as the full value.

Anyone who actually had a problem with that would probably not be worth playing anyway.
