Yes, according to the old fluff. Thet were the sensei knights, there's a whole thread here some where which explains it all.

I can guess that the name just came from th Emporer choosing that particular Sm legion to be his finest creation. Until they went to Slaaneesh...

Yes, he did. they are called the sensei, and most of them don't know they are his children. There are factions of the inquistion who REALLY want to kill them...

Were they "superhuman" too?
Im gonna take a quess and say that they'll never be in taken out of fluff right?

It`s all in the old realm of chaos books. They are immortal, psychic blanks, can channel the force of the warp directly and are faster, tougher and stronger than the rest of humanity. In many ways they are the genetic counterpart of the Legiones Astartes. The big negative is that they are all infertile so when they die thats it for the Emperors bloodline.

Think emperor but weaker.

Well, depending upon what you believe, the Emperor sired the 'Sensei', and they were all born with the ability to channel psychic power, gain respect easily and so on (as Scorpio said - the Emperor, but weaker).

The main thing is, they were undetectable by the Emperor (unlike most psykers), and they were completely unaware that he was their father.

There was a whole conspiracy about the Numen, the Sensei and the Star Child in the old fluff (read the Inquisitor Trilogy by Ian Watson for a more in-depth - if off the wall - look at it), but in recent times this seems to have been written off as a Tzeentch cult and exterminated.

However, it could all be true. Such is the nature of the WH40K universe. Read this (http://www.warseer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31144) to get some idea of what I'm on about. Also this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daemon_(Warhammer)) (scroll to the bottom), this (http://members.fortunecity.com/pangolinsaloon/fl/thesenseiandthestarchild.htm), this (http://forums.specialist-games.com/inquisitor/forum_b/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3408), and this (http://forums.specialist-games.com/inquisitor/forum_b/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2967). The first 2 aren't on official boards/web pages, so can be taken with a pinch of salt, but the last one is taken from the Conclave, which is fairly official. If you scroll down in that last one you'll find a reply by a membercalled Charax which points to the WH40K rulebook.

The "Tzeench" Star child cult could also have been a Chaos plot to discredit the Sensei in the eyes of the Inquisition.

Not all of the Emperors children are sensei, so the emperor's genes shoulf be by now wide spread all over mankind.

Every now and then is a new sensei born.

Viewing the Emperor in such a 'promiscous' light just doesn't seem right. It seems that, for all his genetic skills, he didn't understand the basics of contraception :p

Either that, or he really wanted to be the father of humanity :p

But yes, he's certainly supposed to have become a dad at least once.

I don't think there's really any need to view him as promiscuous... he is supposedly, what, 35 000 years old at the time of the Heresy? Even one at a time that's enough for a lot of wives.

Mind you he could certainly get away with being a bit of a ****, who's really going to argue? He does sort of define the term 'alpha male'.

He's supposed to be famous characters throughout history, so I suppose Casanova isn't out of the question

As was rightly pointed out by masecase, though, this isn't necessary. Whlie the view of the Emperor as promiscuous might be off for some (remembering that he may have viewed himself as a bit of a Jaffa), that doesn't mean his non-Sensei descendants would not have been.

Why have I suddenly starting imagining Starwars esque moments of the Emperor approaching random Guardsmen and going 'I amyour father...' 'nooo!'?

LOL. Now that presented a rather amusing image.

so long that they dont jump off platforms then scream on the way down for no reason.

So if the emporer fathered actually children, but they were "pyshic blanks." My question is what about the mothers, did they know they were getting it on with the emporer?
Now Jimmie just becasuse your father is the God-emporer of all mankind doesnt mean you can jump on the bed. by the way did he even have a name or were his parants hippies? lol

Not trying to get too adult here, but, being a god and all, he must have been pretty good ;)

I guess the Emperor would change his name overtime; it would be too suspicous for someone of the same name to exist for 38,000 years or so. I suppose he would pick names suitable for the region and time. Who knows, maybe he could even change his appearence?

The best bit about being such a psychic master would being able to prevent all these single mothers from claiming child support.

"Hey, this is your child!"

"No it isn't" [zzzap]

"Oh, sorry no it isn't"

Mind you 38,000 years of paying even 100 a week is only 197.6 million. Not too bad if you consider the income from conquering all of Terra.

Lmao!

It is quite a lot though considering all the possible children he might have sired

Actually, can you picture it... Emperor on Golden Throne, all is peaceful. Suddenly, woman bursts in, pushes the bemused custodes out of the way and walks up to the Emperor.

*Slaps Emperor*
Woman: "Where have you been!? I thought we meant something, but you just had me and left me with a baby! Not even a good bye note! Why, if I..."
*Custodes vaporise woman in flurry of bolter fire*

Ah, Warseer...

Ah, Kage.... ;)

Anyway. To turn this thread back into a dried and withered husk....

Yes, he could change his appearance...whether it would be by tricking other people into seeing something different or by manifesting a physical object via warp-matter manipulation would probably be irrelevant, because he was a particularly "mighty mortal" in his day. And of course, depending on what you think precipitated the revelation at the end of Draco, it's quite possible he can, has, and does answer to a ridiculous number of names.

masecase
12-04-2006, 06:41
I thinks its safe to assume, that he could change his physical. Warpcraft definitly enable people and demons to reknit their flesh and regenerate it and its said, that the emperor was bigger than most of the primarchs.

Unlikly that somebody born about 8000 B.C. would be 9 food big.

Just an interesting note on this.

Scientists studying DNA markers, discovered that over a million Chinese can trace their ancestry to one single man.

He was a Mongolian warlord who sired 258 sons and is now the point of origination of all these people.

So if that holds true and the Emperor's descendants can reproduce, he could be responsible for over a billion offspring.

Damn it must be murder to hold a family gathering. :)

Yes, that guy was Ghengis Khan.

He started a patrilineage that covers large parts of Asia to this day. It was not just him but his sons as well who got in on the act. After conquering a new land they would kill loads of the men then get the women with child to "impart their seed unto them". Oh fun, fun, fun be the 'Ghengis Star Cluster'

I'm sure that the Emperor would have had a hand in something so immoral!

Khan only had a lifetime, what the Emperor lacked in ruthlessness he certainly could have made up with time.

Practice makes perfect and all that.
