Hiya, I finally decided to start this thread. I still probably won't have enough time for this but I shall try. The object is to paint a Lost and the Damned Chaos Cultist army for Epic Armageddon. 3000 points by July. I have a ridiculous amount of Chaos minis and it's about time I got my posterior into gear and started painting them!

Anyway, I've used lots of Warmaster minis to complement the force as I absolutely love the things. Daemons make good Epic Daemons as the size difference doesn't spell awful doom to credibility or the look of the force (my Plaguebearers are ogryn sized - so what?). I've also going to use Ogres to spice up my Big Mutant stands (they are about the size of Warhammer Giants in Epic scale, so fit along).

I'll try and post a new pic every week (that should be doable even to me) so watch this space.

Here's my test Plaguebearers:

and a buttshot:

I used lots of different shades of green and browns and shaded a bit with purple. I'm pretty happy with the result.

And then an ogre:

He's the Man. No doubt about it :p Very fun to paint, though I must admit that I was a wee bit drunk at the time...

I've still to come up with a basing scheme, so that department will be somewhat lacking for a while yet. Also, I had to use the flash on these pics, which made the ogre's varnish shiny. Try to endure.

Comments would be superbly welcome!

I love the minis (IMHO highest quality GW stuff there is) but no one around me is interested so no I (sadly) don't.

Some nicely painted minis there! I like the amount of detail you've managed to squeeze into the Ogre.

Well, I suppose I have to update, so here's four ogres:

I really ought to get to painting actual Epic minis instead of all this Warmaster goodness. In the meantime I've actually decided to start playing Warmaster getting High Elves next summer. But first it's Epic time.

I'm nearly done with some Cultists, too, but I'm still on the fence on how to base them.
