It's grey resin. They had that at GD Atl as well.

Look UNDER your "plastic" Bugman (it's resin as Ardyer said). It's a blister with a metal bugman ^_^

Yes the metal Bugman is *slightly* obvious. I was asking about the obviously non-metal model on top of it. :eyebrows:

The master model is cast in resin, that is what is on top of the blister to show what the assembled piece should look like. But if the model becomes available, it will be metal.

I don't think it will

You kinda see the words "exclusive to" on the packet, and I'd guess the end bits GW HQ

This model is actually not new. It has been available from Bugman's Bar at the UK GW headquarters for a couple of years now.

they like to show those models in resin as you can see the details more easily then metal

mm- just saw this- also saw shadowsun in the same material somewhere and then another poster in 40k rumours mentioned that they had shadowsun in plastic to show the possibilities and detail of the new casting system. Think he saw it at GDLA- might this be a similar example?- Poster was Wolvychops and he was talking to Mark Harrison.
Might be wrong but there you go, just thought I'd mention it.
and yes i know that is a limited ed figure only available in Bugmans Bar at Lenton- aside from 40k I like the little beardy fellas

the resins are definitely exposition pieces. just like one of the previous posters I happen to own one and arranged two others for friends of mine. the yare exclusives available only in Bugmans Bar at GW UK Head Quarters in Nottingham, or on e-bay for us foreigners :D . Great model. I intend to use him as shield-bourn lord.
