ok,

so if i have charmed shield on my BSB and he gets hit on his way to Combat, using its ability, is it then classed as a mundane shield allowing the use of parry save in CC?

No, it's still a magic item that is also a shield. Using up the power of a one-use item doesn't de-magic it as best anyone can tell.

Nope. It's still a magical shield, just one that has no particular effect on the game after you use the one-use ability.

Of course. Magical shields grant the normal armour bonus unless specifically stated otherwise.

Hey, can't magic shields be used for parry saves? I know magic weapons cannot, but I don't think shields are limited.

Second bullet point under the Magic Armour section in the Magic Items appendix. It's p.174 in the LRB which I think makes it p.502 in the BRB...
