You've really gotten your anatomy looking realistic. Cool model. Looks like something out of Doom.

This is an impressive mini (actually not that mini). The sculpting is amazing and he looks seriously scary and vicious.

I don't have a clue what use i could have for the miniature... but i want :P, great work, the muscles look great as do the claws and teeth, also really like the lumps on teh back.

Also what is the brown/caramel putty you've used for the primary base?

Seconded. Barrel-chested looks so much more threatening than large-breasted.

Thanks everyone. I fixed the head tonight and began the hands which are my favorite things to sculpt. I'm really pleased with him now and will add some armor next.

The brown clay is a polymer clay fimo mixed with another polymer clay uro. Uro is very stiff while fimo is soft. I don't like either more than another but thought the mix might work out. Seems it ended up just like fimo but brown instead of peach. :shifty: Anyway first time with it and I prefer the clay cernit another polymer clay.

This is an outstanding piece of work!

Makes me think Games Workshop should be offering a freelance fee for anyone who can produce something (off this kind of quality) that they can then make a mould of and mass produce. I'd sure as hell buy one of these.

i have to ask, how do you get that beautiful mottled effect on its back? I have been trying to achieve that on my mangler squig so it can be complete!

I melt the poly clay in mineral spirits and use a brush and paint them on spotted. It melts to the other clay and blends all together. You have to do it before baking though.

Holy hell, how big is this thing? Can we get a size comparison? Awesome work.

A bit more work. I reworked the hips a bit more as they were off but not much more I can fix.
